SKOR.id - Sarapan menjadi salah satu kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan manusia pada pagi hari sebelum melakukan aktivitas lebih berat seperti bekerja.

Namun, banyak juga masyarakat yang sering mengabaikan untuk sarapan di pagi hari sebelum berkegiatan, dengan berbagai macam alasan.

Padahal, banyak manfaat dari sarapan pagi dan penting bagi tubuh kita.

Ahli Gizi Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Dr. Mirza Hapsari Sakti Titis Penggalih, S.Gz., M.P,H., RD., menjelaskan mengapa sarapan penting untuk dilakukan. Salah satunya, sarapan menjadi sumber energi atau penyedia bahan bakar bagi tubuh untuk beraktivitas di siang hari.

“Kalau habis tidur 8 jam tidak makan dan minum otomatis kadar glukosa dalam tubuh rendah. Jika tidak mengonsumsi makanan setelah bangun tidur, maka akan lemas karena tidak ada bahan bakar yang masuk,” kata Mirza, seperti dikutip situs resmi UGM.

Masih menurut Mirza, sarapan pagi adalah makanan yang tidak akan pernah disimpan dalam tubuh sebagai lemak karena digunakan untuk beraktivitas.

Tetapi, banyak juga yang sarapan hanya sekadar kenyang tanpa memperhatikan asupan gizi bagi tubuh.

Mantan atlet binaragawan Indonesia, Ade Rai, pun berbagi tips menu sarapan terbaik versi dirinya. Hal itu diungkapkannya dalam akun TikToknya @aderai_ofc.

Setelah pensiun, Ade Rai saat ini memang  memiliki bisnis restoran maupun klub fitness. Bahkan, dia juga menjadi konsultan gizi.

“Jenis breakfast terbaik, yang kesatu adalah yang biasa disebut waterfasting. Jadi pada saat di jam breakfast kalau boleh kita hanya mengonsumsi air putih saja, atau kopi, teh, atau cuka apel, semuanya tanpa gula,” kata Ade Rai, membuka tipsnya.

“Yang kedua kalau seandainya saya harus makan, saya hanya akan mengonsumsikan yaitu adalah hanya ada lemak dan protein, tidak ada karbonya,” ia menambahkan.

Lebih lanjut, lelaki berusia 52 tahun ini menjelaskan salah satu protein yang paling populer pada saat sarapan adalah dengan makan telur, bisa putih dan kuningnya dimakan bersamaan. Namun begitu, ada pola makan tersendiri terkait hal tersebut.

“Rasionya 3:1, yaitu 3 putih 1 kuning, 2:1, atau 1:1, tapi kita tidak memasukkan karbo (karbohidrat, red.),” ia menegaskan.

“Dan yang terakhir, jenis breakfast terbaik adalah tidak breakfast,” ucap Ade Rai.
