Di dunia yang semakin canggih seperti saat ini, banyak sekali hoaks dan mitos yang ditemukan di internet.

Salah satunya adalah pernyataan yang menyebut jika minum soda bisa memperlancar haid. Tentu ini sempat menjadi kabar baik buat kaum hawa.

Sebab haid tidak lancar menjadi salah satu siksaan sendiri di tengah-tengah padatnya aktivitas yang dilakukan.

Namun ternyata menurut Journal of Taibah University Medical Sciences, minum soda saat haid justru tidak dianjurkan.

Sebab minuman bersoda diklaim dapat menyebabkan kondisi penyempitan pembuluh darah.

Di dunia medis, kondisi ini dikenal dengan istilah vasokonstriksi. Akibatnya, rasa dismenore alias rasa sakit ketika haid justru semakin parah.

Ini disebabkan karena minuman bersoda mengandung kafein yang cukup banyak. Kafein inilah yang menjadi penyebab kram perut hingga sakit kepala.

Selain itu, minuman bersoda juga membuat seseorang menjadi semakin moody atau perubahan suasana hati yang naik turun ketika haid

Fakta Lain Minuman Bersoda

Baru-baru ini ditemukan fakta yang cukup mengejutkan terkait siklus yang terjadi terhadap wanita ini.

Sejumlah peneliti dari Harvard School of Public Health menemukan fakta bahwa minuman bersoda bisa membuat remaja putri mendapat haid yang lebih cepat.

Setelah diteliti lebih lanjut, hal tersebut karena kandungan gula dan soda dalam minuman bersoda cukup memengaruhi hormon.

Akan tetapi, tidak disarankan untuk remaja putri yang ingin segera mendapat haid pertama mengonsumsi banyak soda.

Sebab jika dibandingkan dengan efek buruknya, kelebihan soda tersebut tidaklah sebanding. 

Cara agar Haid Lancar

Alih-alih minum soda, Anda dapat mengonsumsi makanan atau minuman lain agar haid lancar dan tidak terlalu merasakan nyeri.

Misalnya saja sering minum air hangat yang bisa memberi efek nyaman pada perut. Atau jika tidak terlalu suka air hangat, Anda bisa minum air putih biasa.

Selain itu, rutin mengonsumsi yougurt selama haid juga dipercaya bisa membuat tubuh tetap bugar selama haid.
