Tak hanya karena terlalu sering melihat layar komputer atau gadget saja namun makanan bisa juga menjadi salah satu penyebabnya.

Vertigo sendiri adalah kondisi yang menyebabkan seseorang mengalami sakit kepala tak tertahankan.

Penderita vertigo juga akan mengalami sensasi seperti lingkungan yang berputar.

Untuk mencegah kambuhnya vertigo perlu menghindari beberapa makanan ini:

1. Makanan Manis atau Tinggi Gula

Hindari makanan manis atau tinggi gula seperti gula pasir, gula merah atau madu.

Makanan manis bisa menyebabkan fluktuasi volume cairan di telinga yang dapat meningkatkan gejala vertigo.

Untuk mengganti rasa manis dari berbagai gula diatas, bisa menggunakan gula kompleks yang berasal dari kacang-kacangan, biji-bijian, kentang dan sayuran agar lebih sehat.

2. Makanan dan Minuman Berkafein

Penderita vertigo dianjurkan untuk tidak mengonsumsi kopi, teh, coklat, artau soda.

Berbagai minuman atau makanan yang mengandung kafein ini bisa meningkatkan sensai dengung dalam telinga.

Oleh sebab itu pengidap vertigo sebaiknya menghindari makanan atau minuman yang mengandung kafein.

3. Minuman Beralkohol

Selain dapat memperburuk rasa pusing, alkohol juga bisa mempengaruhi komposisi cairan pada telinga bagian dalam.

Alkohol juga bisa memicu serangan migrain.

Tak hanya itu saja, alkohol juga bisa membuat tubuh dehidrasi serta memicu metabolit berbahaya bagi telinga dan otak sehingga sangat tidak disarankan untuk mengonsumsi alkohol.

4. Makanan Asin

Makanan asing yang mengandung tinggi garam tak baik untuk penderita vertigo.

Hal ini dikarenakan oleh kandungan sodium yang ada dalam garam dapat memperburuk vertigo.

Tekanan dalam cairan tubuh juga bisa terganggu jika mengonsumsi makanan asin dan akan membahayakan kesehatan pengidap vertigo.
