Sebab, ada kekhawatiran dengan berpuasa imunitas tubuh akan menurun dan rentan terpapar virus yang telah menelan banyak korban tersebut.

Direktur Teknik PSSI, Indra Sjafri, meminta masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir berlebihan berpuasa akan membuat mereka mudah terserang virus.

Sebaliknya, puasa malah menyehatkan. Hal ini telah didukung banyak penelitian, tidak hanya pakar muslim tetapi oleh pakar nonmuslim.

Asal tetap menjaga kebersihan, patuhi anjuran pemerintah untuk di rumah saja, dan mengonsumsi suplemen tambahan, tubuh akan kebal dari serangan virus.

Indra Sjafri mengaku, dirinya rutin minum suplemen saat sahur supaya tubuhnya tetap terjaga dan bugar selama menjalani ibadah puasa.

Selain itu, pelatih asal Sumatera Barat itu juga tentunya tetap mengonsumsi makanan yang bergizi, bervitamin, dan bernutrisi tinggi.

"Saya konsumsi madu dari Kupang kiriman dari sahabat. Madu itu salah satu yang terbaik dan banyak khasiatnya bagi kesehatan tubuh," kata Indra kepada Skor.id

Sementara itu, untuk menu berbuka puasa atau menu sahur favoritnya, pelatih juara Piala AFF U-19 2013 ini bukan tipikal yang terlalu banyak memilih.

Apalagi saat ini dirinya juga masih aktif menjalani diet dengan tidak memakan nasi. Sekadar informasi, Indra hanya mengonsumsi nasi satu minggu sekali.

Namun, ada satu menu yang selalu ia nantikan di bulan Ramadan ini, yakni rendang asli yang diolah dari Padang.

Olahan daging tersebut tak dibuatnya sendiri di rumah, melainkan kiriman dari saudaranya di Padang. Menurutnya tidak mudah membuat Rendang bercita rasa otentik.

"Saya biasa dikirimin saudara saya dari Padang. Mengapa tidak buat sendiri, karena rasanya berbeda. Rendang dari Padang itu mirip seperti buatan Almarhum ibu," katanya.
