Seperti tahun lalu, Honor of Kings World Cup 2025 termasuk dalam gelaran Esports World Cup alias Piala Dunia Esports, meski dengan nama yang berbeda.
Turnamen ini akan dihelat di Riyadh, Arab Saudi, pada 15-26 Juli 2025.
Prize pool alias total hadiah tiga juta dolar AS atau setara 48,7 miliar rupiah disiapkan untuk turnamen ini.
Akan ada 18 tim terbaik di paruh pertama 2025 yang ikut serta di Piala Dunia Esports ini.
FORMAT
A. BABAK GRUP (15-19 Juli)
- 16 tim dibagi menjadi empat grup, tanpa proteksi region, artinya semua tim bisa bertemu satu sama lain
- Best of 3 dengan sistem Swiss
- Juara grup lolos ke Playoff sekaligus Group Kings
- Runner-up lolos ke Last Chance
B. LAST CHANCE (20 Juli)
- 4 tim dibagi jadi dua pertandingan, Best of 5
- Pemenang lolos ke Playoff
C. GROUP KINGS (20 Juli)
- 4 tim juara grup dibagi jadi dua pertandingan, Best of 3
- Pemenang masuk Top 4 Pool, kalah masuk Bottom 4 Pool
D. PLAYOFF (23-26 Juli)
- Sistem eliminasi tunggal, diikuti delapan tim
- Semua laga Best of 7, kecuali perebutan juara tiga Best of 5
- Semua pertandingan memakai sisten Global Ban/Pick dengan Ultimate Battle untuk Game 7
