Terkadang beberapa orang bahkan merasa waktunya tak cukup untuk mengerjakan beberapa hal yang mereka sukai.

Oleh karena itu banyak orang yang memilih untuk begadang dan menunda tidur mereka.

Taukah skorer jika begadang memiliki dampak yang tak baik untuk tubuh?

Berikut adalah 5 dampak negatif begadang untuk tubuh:

1. Sulit Konsentrasi

Salah satu dampak begadang adalah dapat membuat sulit untuk berkonsentrasi.

Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya jam tidur yang cukup.

Bukan hanya konsentrasi saja namun juga nalar dan pemecahan masalah.

2. Menurunkan Gairah

Dampak selanjutnya adalah dapat menurunkan gairah seksual.

Seringnya begadang dapat menurunkan libido dan menurunkan keinginan untuk melakukan hubungan seksual.

Begadang menguras banyak energi dan akan memberikan rasa kantuk berlebih sehingga dapat mempengaruhi gairah hubungan seksual.

3. Penurunan Produksi Hormon

Bahaya begadang bagi tubuh lainnya adalah dapat menurunkan produksi hormon pertumbuhan hingga testosteron.

Jika hormon testosteron menurun maka dapat memicu terjadinya kerapuhan tulang, munculnya lemak dan mudah lelah.

Akibatnya aktivitas juga menjadi kurang lancar dan mengganggu kesehatan tubuh lainnya.

4. Memicu Obesitas

Selain hormon untuk pertumbuhan dan testosteron, begadang juga dapat mempengaruhi dua hormon lainnya.

Yakni hormon untuk mengatur rasa lapar dan kenyang.

Apabila seseorang mengalami kurang tidur maka hormon tersebut akan mengalami penurunan dan akan merasakan lapar secara terus-menerus.

5. Faktor Penyebab Munculnya Penyakit Lain

Begadang juga dapat menimbulkan berbagai macam penyakit berbahaya lainnya dalam tubuh.

Setidaknya ada tujuh penyakit yang bisa timbul akibat begadang.

Diantaranya adalah stroke, diabetes, jantung, serangan jantung, gagal jantung, peningkatan detak jantung dan tekanan darah tinggi.
