Fisioterapis Senior, Chitra Chandran, dari Rumah Sakit Umum Sengkang, memberikan solusi terbaik mengatasi hal tersebut, seperti dilansir dari healthxchange.sg.

"Anda bisa berolahraga di rumah, ditambah lagi Anda tidak perlu peralatan canggih untuk tetap fit," ujar Chitra. Berikut ini empat peralatan rumah tangga yang bisa dipakai berolahraga:

1. Botol Air

Botol yang berisi air bisa menjadi dumbell yang baik. Anda bisa memulainya dengan botol berukuran 500 mili liter.

Anda juga bisa menggunakan botol sabun atau karton jus untuk latihan angkat beban.

2. Handuk

Handuk kering bisa membantu anda untuk meregangkan tubuh, sebelum dan sesudah berolahraga.

Caranya dengan melingkarkan handuk di sekitar lengan atau kaki saat melakukan peregangan.

3. Kantung beras atau tepung

Kantung beras atau tepung bisa menjadi pilihan di rumah sebagai alat untuk angkat beban.

Penggunaan kantung beras atau tepung bisa dikombinasikan sambil melakukan squat.

4. Kursi

Kursi yang kokoh juga bisa menjadi alat bantu untuk berolahraga di rumah.

Kursi bisa dipakai untuk alat bantu push up, latihan tricep, hingga latihan keseimbangan.
