1. Menjaga Kesehatan Usus

Yogurt memiliki kandungan probiotik didalamnya. Hal tersebut dapat membantu menjaga kesehatan saluran pencernaan.

Mikrobiota pada yogurt terbukti mencegah timbulnya penyakit pada usus.

Selain itu, mengonsumsi yogurt dapat melancarkan saluran pencernaan. Ini penting bagi atlet untuk menjaga kenyamanan saat berlatih atau bertanding.

Para atlet juga dianjurkan mengonsumsi makanan berserat untuk menjaga saluran pencernaan.

2. Mempertahankan Masa Otot

Untuk menjaga masa otot diperlukan asupan protein yang cukup setiap harinya. Protein dalam yogurt memiliki asam amino esensial yang mudah dicerna.

Atlet  membutuhkan lebih dari 2 gram protein per kilogram berat badan per hari untuk menjaga struktur otot mereka.

3. Menjaga Kesehatan Tulang

Yogurt memiliki kalsium yang berfungsi dalam menjaga kesehatan tulang. Asupan kalsium sangat diperlukan atlet tiap harinya.

Hal ini untuk mengantisipasi kerusakan tulang pada atlet saat menjalankan aktivitas fisik atau terjadi benturan.

Selain Kalsium, diperlukan vitamin D agar lebih efektif. Anda dapat mendapatkannya dengan berjemur di bawah sinar matahari.
