SKOR.id - Gelaran Game Awards 2021 akhirnya telah terselenggara pada Kamis (9/12/2021) waktu setempat.
Acara dari Game Awards 2021 sendiri hanya digelar secara online yang ditayangkan langsung melalui laman resminya.
Game Awards sendiri diproduksi dan dipandu oleh Geoff Keighley, mantan jurnalis yang meluncurkan acara tersebut pada tahun 2014 silam.
Banyak pengembang game, streamer, atlet esport, hingga para eksekutif masuk sebagai nominasi-nominasi dalam Game Awards 2021 ini.
Tujuan gelaran Game Awards 2021 sendiri adalah sebagai sarana untuk merayakan industri video game dan berfungsi untuk sarana promosi bagi game-game yang akan rilis di waktu yang akan datang.
Sehingga tak heran, para pengembang game ramai-ramai menunjukkan trailer game terbarunya pada event Game Awards 2021 ini, diantaranya adalah Star Wars: Eclipse dan Nightingale.
Game Awards 2021 ini memiliki 30 kategori nominasi, mulai dari tim esport terbaik hingga game terbaik tahun ini.
