Sebab, ia memiliki tubuh kering berotot dan tidak terlalu bulking layaknya aktor-aktor seperti Henry Cavill atau Chris Hemsworth.

Selain latihan beban, diet juga menjadi kunci Jason Statham memiliki tubuh sebagus itu.

Kepada Men's Health 2007 lalu, sosok yang sudah berusia 54 tahun tersebut menjelaskan menu makanan sehari-harinya.

Yang jelas, Jason Statham sangat membatasi asupan gula dan tepung, terutama mulai sore hari hingga malam.

Setelah makan siang, ia benar-benar berhenti mengonsumsi karbohidrat.

Berikut penjelasan Jason Statham soal makanan apa saja yang ia santap dari sarapan hingga makan malam:

Sarapan

Saat sarapan, jason Statham biasa mengonsumsi buah-buahan segar dan oatmeal. Namun, ia juga menyesuaikan dengan tempat dan waktu di mana ia berada.

Jika sedang berada di daerah dingin, Jason Statham biasanya meninggalkan buah saat sarapan.

Untuk sumber protein di pagi hari, ia memilih telur rebus. Namun, tak seperti anak gym pada umumnya yang hanya mengonsumsi putihnya saja, Jason Statham juga mengonsumsi kuning telurnya.

Ia bukan penggemar putih telur. Menurutnya, putih telur rasanya sangat hambar dan tidak enak.

Makan Siang

Jason Statham jelas bukan seorang vegetarian. Namun, pada siang hari, ia lebih senang maakanan berbasis tumbuhan. 

Ia biasanya makan siang dengan sayuran kukus dan nasi merah atau nasi coklat. Ia juga kerap menyantap Miso Soup.

Makan Malam

Untuk makan malam, Jason Statham memasukkan banyak protein. Di waktu inilah ia memakan makanan berpotein tinggi seperti ikan, ayam, serta daging sapi tanpa lemak.

Paling malam, ia makan pada pukul 19.00. setelah itu, ia tak lagi memasukkan kalori.

Cemilan

Jason Statham ternyata hobi ngemil juga. Hanya saja cemilannya bukan kudapan tinggi kalori seperti kripik kentang, gorengan, atau siomay.

Ia biasa memilih kacang-kacangan sebagai kudapan. Namun, kacang ini tentu tidak diolah dengan teknik menggoreng.

Ya, kacang-kacangan merupakan salah satu sumber protein nabati terbaik.
